The Senate voted 51-48 to open debate on “SAVE America Act”, with Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska crossing the aisle to vote with Democrats in opposition. Senator Thom Tillis did not cast a vote. Floor debate is expected to stretch on for days.
