🎙️🎧 PODCAST: Celebrating Victory
This episode is about celebrating our victories! I recorded it about ten days ago, after the election and before the Democrats caved on the shutdown. But as I say in the podcast, it’s important to celebrate such victories as we have, even partial ones. Zoran Mamdani’s election as mayor of New York City, and the recent Democratic wins during the last election in New Jersey, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, where Democrats won key positions and judges retained their seats despite opposition… these are all victories during wildly challenging times.
We can’t win them all, but we can acknowledge the wins we do have, that signal our resilience and the impact of our work towards justice and democracy.
This work matters. Our voices matter. Our actions matter. And THAT is worth celebrating.
