A federal judge ruled that Trump overstepped his authority when he attempted to send National Guard troops to Portland, Oregon. The judge’s decision permanently prohibits such troop deployments. Thank you Judge Karin J. Immergut!

Yay! More states New York, Kansas, and Pennsylvania have announced they’ve started sending out full SNAP benefits. Meanwhile, Trump was apparently too busy napping to help make sure people got the assistance they need.
